well im out to go do my first big surgery job on roxette, somewhat rebuilt/modded carb is going in. wish me luck haha,ill let you guys know how everything turns out!

CARB IS OUT.... I THINK I MIGHT GO AHEAD AND REMOVE THE RESTS NEXT WHILE IM AT IT.AND THE AIR PUMP.... WELL IM JUST IN GETTING WARMED UP .. ITS KINDA COLD OUT THERE... WISH ME LUCK ON PUUTING IT BACK IN THERE... LOL

Best of luck, you'll be happier if you do the rats nest and air pump removal while doing the new carb. Your engine bay will be much cleaner and over all it will look like you accomplished a lot more.

ok well its done the "rebuilt carb" was all bent at the linkages and i had to take mine off my old carb and that was a bitch. and that damn nut under everything was a pain in the ***... but now it idles rough

i am running cats but not for l0ong... i have a header and presilencer... but the bastard that owned the car befor me had a diff. cat welded on so i cant just bolt them on. and i didnt do the rats nest removal nor the air pump... the damn carb took too long.

it was just a vacume line diconected everyting seems to be running fine now although i cant feel much of a diff. frmo the other carb with out the mech secs. but the rest of my car is stock so. who knows....
