There is supposed to be a massive car show April 7-9 at Lowes Motor Speedway. Anyways im taking the 7 to nc with my buddies 944 and maybe my other friends 91 Eclipse. Im coming from wv to there so do you think the 7 could make it there and back? I personally think it can since runs pretty good for the most part. What are some main things i should check before making a long trip? Also are of you guys going to be attending the show? It would be sweet to meet up with some other 7 owners.

 

Do a full tune up and oil change before you go... Bring some extra light bulbs... Check your tires... Bring lots of gas money!

 

The car should not have a problem with the trip. Bring along your spares kit and some general tools, and a AAA card and you should not have a problem.

Also bring a T-shirt and a coat. the Spring autofair is never a nice temp, it is always to cold or to hot on that weekend. good shoes are also a must.

 

hoinestly if i can make from NC to FL and back with mine you shouldnt have a problem! and like hades12 said it is kinda chilly out here and it just rained today too so there might be a cold front coming in tonight. yesterday it was down in the low 30's at PT time which is 0630 but dress alil warm and you should be fine.

 

yeah i will bring intermediate clothes , thats how i dress up here , it has 30 some days and 72 other days. Are any of you attending?? My car isnt to hard to spot my it is as shown in my pic and the license plate reads ERIKSRX7 and my friends 944is red and has a big dent in the front fender.

 

honestly i dont know if i will be atteneding or not it comes down to a few things like if i still have my 7 or not still and if its cool with the wife!

 

I dont have plans to go this year. Been several times.

Are you putting your car in? Most of the event is the car sale and the cars on the track are all for sale. Cars in the in-field are the ones there for show. Lots of musscle and rods.

 

no the 7 is not in that good of condition the exterior looks ok but the interior and engine bay are not on par. this may sound ricey but are there very many tuner cars there like 3rd gens?

 

hey what day are you going to be there? i live about an hour from there and might go down on sunday afternoon not sure yet but just maybe. I am still trying to make it to deals gap that weekend but if i end up stuck at work i might come down saturday afternoon to the auto fair

 

im gonna be staying in concorde from friday night till sometime sunday. So we could meet up sometime if u want to.

None that I have ever seen. 20s - 40s Rods. Muscle, A few years ago they had a bunch of VW stuff. One year there was a Mercury exibit.

Met the old lady that still had her 50 Ford from new.
