gsl-se with 45 dcoe rats nest advice
ok, ive got the tutorial, but what do i do if i have a 13B? Its all for a 12A. I'm going carb, so obviously the EFI doesnt need to work. Advise? help? what can i remove? what do i need to plug?
putting on a dcoe? do you have emissions testing? remove it all. if the dcoe is for a 12a then you will need a different manifold, and new jets, and air correctors, probably new emulsion tubes and maybe new ventures, maybe. good luck, and be sure to get a wideband o2 sensor and guage.
on my intake for my weber i got 2 vac nipples. one for my dizzy that has a T. then the other split into a T for the oil. you might have to drill and install your own. you should also have a larger barb for your brakes. i just did an install yesterday for mine. its cake.

To a point it a carb setup does provide an advantage since the ecus are 'dumb' and cannot learn or be tuned to make any adjustments. Only way to get around that is to go with an aftermarket engine management system which has the capability of having adjustments made through a laptop. If one were to install a MegaSquirt system it could probably be tuned for a more precise power curve than any carb setup.
With the MS system being the least expensive of the aftermarket systems, it might actually be cheaper to go that route than buyinmg an new Weber IDA setup, if one has the ability/patience/know how, to install and tune the MS system.
