What are you asking? A 12a engine with a 5 speed trans by its self or in a car?

It has 120k on it. Was told it was rebulit at about 80k. It is out of the car now as I was moving it to a new one but I am going to go with a 13bt instead. It did run when pulled. I bought the car and drove it to work for a few days and then pulled it. It has only been out for about 2 months,

The last Full Long block with Trans, Carb, AC, Every thing and about the same story, I sold for $300.

So I would call it $200 to $400.

I have seen them around for $50 - $100. If you got proof of the rebuild then it could be worth more.

That is about what I was thinking. But why are people on ebay charging $600 to $900 for these? Do they even sell? I think I am going to try for $200 and see what happens.

Do you think any one would trade it for a rear-end with disk breaks?

I sale the Disk rears for $150 so that would be a good trade.

The hard part is not being able to show it runs. If you can prove it runs then you get more for it.

Last one I proved running I sold for $600.

People not in the know will pay a lot for an engine, generrly they are the type that is having some one do the work for them.
