That sure looks like a lot of work compared to the mod using the 2nd gen coil pack. Glad it works for you...

not very good pics but this is how i mounted mine:

*you will have to excuse the oil, i snapped a motor mount and the oil filter on the beehive cooler hit the brake master *

its angle aluminum(road sign to be specific), with [ign][ign](coil)(coil)(coil) on top, i used the stock mount holes for something that was there previously, i dont remember what it was.

i got far worse problems now

question!

i was goin to the drags and somthin fell off the exhaust i dont see anything under there except the usall hole in my cat
there could be a bigger hole where i cant see on my cat.
had alot of back oil i guess but nothing else had oil smokin from it thats strange

it sounds like a v8 kinda but the thing thats worring me is the cars heating up bad
i had the heater on for saftey and it seemed to keep it down to save levels
but i have hardly any power when the secondays are kicked in
also the engine is rockin around heaps i have alll neccary things in order to run a rotary

had to travel really slow all the way home

my main question is could a holey exhaust cause alota heat, rob power
and would i be able to drive around with out damage if the temp keeps low

You say there's liquid in there? If I read your post correctly, the liquid is probably some of the cooling oil in which the primary and secondary coil windings are submerged. It must have a small leak allowing some of the oil to ooze up along the secondary wire inside the top of the coil when it heats up and expands.

Wacky: how come you have so many trashed J109s? I've not lost one yet. Is it the consequence of racing?

the resistance is a lil lower than the good one
good is 13.1 leakey one 11.1

Wacky, I could use a couple of dead J109s if you plan on paring down your collection. Wire connectors too.
