hey guys, just an update. I've ordered a set of springs that should show up this friday (fingers crossed) If it does, I'm probably going to be installing it with a friend's help over this coming weekend, along with feedback and pictures. After that, and being able to make sure that this will fit the koni (the machinist have tokicos, so we know they fit those already) and if you guys are still seriously interested, I'll ask the machinist about the lead time on getting some made. Though he might want a deposit.

I'll let you guys know friday whether the springs shows up.

I'd definitely be down, I'm sure he'd have no problem getting 5 orders at that price. I just added up the cost of collars/camber plates/turn-in spacers from Mazdatrix and G-Force, it would cost $544, almost twice as much!!

I'm not sure the respeed plates and these perches would be compatible, it will depend on what kinda diameter spring they were planning to use. These (let's call them beelines (the name of the machinist's shop) uses 2 1/4 springs.

yeah, springs are not included, mostly so people can run whatever spring rate you want. You can get a set of springs from eibach shipped for about 110-120.

When you a Ground Control coilover kit can you specify the spring diameter? As I understand the Ground Control kit for first gens is 2.5, where this is 2.25.

Are you talking about ordering springs from Eibach to fit the coil-overs...?

They have any size you'll need.

ok, i guess i'll give an update. I've taken my suspension apart. I'm going to run the fronts to my friends shop to use the spring compressor, then to the machine shop to have the front strut shaft turned down a bit (this is required step for even the ground control plates) then i should be able to start reassembly and take pictures, but everything looks like they'll fit just fine, i should have more info by thursday or friday. I'm trying to get everything ready for the next autox in two weeks, so you guys will definitly have more info soon...
