Front suspension noises

First, there is a clunking/rattling (linear combination of the two, really) from the front right when I go over bumps at just the right spot (in other words, it doesn't happen on all bumps; it doesn't do it when pulling in and out of my driveway, fo instance). It also sounds like it does it almost exclusively when I'm not applying too much force to the steering wheel, and when the suspension is extending.

The second noise just started about a month ago, but its been getting progressively worse (as in, its happening more often). This ones a squeak when the front right suspension compresses. My thoughts are that it could be either a worn bushing, or worn springs. I'm hoping its worn springs (cause then i can get RB ones), but I don't know for sure.

Also included are some shots I took today while working on the right front brake, so if anything unusual pops up, let me know. Thanks for your help

Mine has similar symptoms & found my tie rod ends are due for replacement. Also, is that strut oil on the inside of your wheel well?

Mine makes a clunk when the wheels are turned left and I go in or out of my driveway....Hmmm. Nothing really seems to be out of order though.

Low speed clunking could be a binding Macpherson Strut or Strut Bearing (depending on the design; my Dodge MS is almost completely different than my Audi's was)

My 'Tona clunks over bumps because the strut cartridge is actually binding slightly, though it compresses and releases okay (Detroit soft, but still within what you'd expect from an Iacoccamobile) If you're losing strut cartridge oil, this is a possibility.

For RMDs driveway scenario;

As you're turning left, the strut is supposed to swivel to provide a pivot point for the hub. When it binds, it winds up then releases, causing a 'thunk' as though a tennisball has just struck the outside of the footwell.

Edit: at higher speeds you don't turn the wheel as much, hence far less likelihood of the noise occuring.
