Front Poly end links?????

Man, how tight do I screw these down? It looks like it can go forever. So anyone can tell me how many turns or measurement of the threaded screw.

thanks

Those links up front are how you can adjust the caster, it also affects the wheel base a little but not much. Just make sure they are the same on both sides, a lot of guys just thread them as far as they can go to gain the most caster. Do an alignment when your done because your toe will change too. These aren't just blocks of urethane are they? To work properly they need to articulate smoothly without sticking or squishing. If they do either of those they act like a spring and the trailing link has to flex which then is another spring. If they are urethane bushings its actually better to just install the piece toward the front a leave the back ones stock. This will allow some movement because the stock rubber squishes. Almost all of the load on these is pulling to the rear anyway so the urethane will control that.

If you tighten them too much everything locks up(not good). Make the trailing link so you can move it up and down with your hand in the range the suspension normally rides. The tighter it is the more it becomes an extra spring.
