I am just plain tired of the flip-ups. They make my car look like some kind of insect. Not to mention I can't see **** at night.

Well, my kit hasn't moved yet. Since I'm doing the swap I've been buisy with more important things. I still don't have an electrical system so I haven't been able to test the beam pattern to make sure it's alright. Once that's done though, it'll be very soon on my kit. I expect to start testing it out next week sometime. I'm also probably going to re-design the mounts again to get some more adjustability and make them easier to produce. Patience is a virtue

I want to get the non-pop-ups with a front airdam that can hold foglights. I'm not trying to be ricey, I just want the extra visibility. That would clear the problem of not having the first few yards in front of you unlit.

Whew! Back from the dead with this thread. <--rhymes

Anyway, I finally got the lights installed in my test car and the beam does indead leave a nice dead spot in front of the car. The good news is that it's more than enough to provide the driver with a fine view, and lights up the road nicely. I've already drawn up the third and final design and will start working on it in the next week or so. I think it'll all work out well.

Anyone elses kits coming along? I'd like to see some other designs and thoughts.

I wanna see some pics of these different "kits" when everybody's got 'em figured out....
Just to see them though... I'm keeping the insect eyes

perhaps start a new thread, with the fresh idea, and pictures right at the top if possible, that way people don't have to figure out where the new posts start...
