Thumbs up Flames, anyone?

I saw V8kilr's 7, and it is friggin very nice. Then I looked at his webpage--he had his 7 shootin flames out the tailpipe... How can I do that? Or maybe it does, only I don't know cuz I can't see my tailpipe while I'm driving. All I know is that when I push my 7 hard, the tailpipe will be scalding hot...

ok guy, here it is,lets start from one catagor the work our way from there,
1:ignition-make sure you have new plugs always, good coils,i run dual msd, good wires,i run jacobs the biggest they make, and igintion boxes are also nice,i have dual msd 6a's,but their not even installed yet.

2:fuel-an aftermarket carb helps alot, mine is modded by myself,i removed some odds and ends from the carb, bored out venturies, bigger fuel air jets.and also get a new fuel pump and fuel regulator, theres a whole discussion on it in this forum.

3:exhaust-header,no cats or presilencers, straight pipe, and most important a good racing muff, straight through,no center in offset out ****,you should be able to see through it.

ok how its done, drive hard take your r's to around 6g then leave the clutch engaged while releasing the gas, some popping and flames will follow.

everthing here is from first hand experience,if you have your own opions about how you do it thats great posts em up,but dont try to correct how i do it,i know it works and can spit flames on demand.i dont usally posts how-to's here because i dont like to have people try compare how i do it to how they do it, then it urns into a huge whos right and wrong battle.that was clear as mud, enjoy the info.

Thanx Pele, that's the kind of stuff that comes out of my car when I barely escape an accident due to the other driver's lack of common sense or I'm following an insanely slow ****

Well, I did research on the flames on this board. I think I might forget about it cuz I have presilencers, and I don't want my car that loud. Plus it seems like after you've removed the rats nest then no more flames, and I'm about to remove the nest... *sigh*

I guess I'll just have to buy one of those wind-proof lighters and hold that out my window

GSLSE, headers, 2 pre silencers in line. Loud pops and a few flames. Looks like backdraft. Or so I was told.

My GS threw flames occasionally, with just no rats nest and the Street Port exhaust. I can't wait to try it with the DCOE once I get the motor back in

I gotta richen up my TII a little for it to flame, its just popping right now...
