exhaust sounds with varing levels of porting
It depends on the size and port timing of the extend-port. (the term street-port sounds
IMO
) Mine for one idles at around 1400-1500rpm and has a very noticeable "brap" to it.

streetport can be made as quiet or as loud as you want it just depends on you particular setup.
with a decent presilencer and a strong freeflowing muffler and you'll be set for a quiet system on a streetport. You still will have good power too.

I have a ton of videos and sounds of my extend port.
Unfortunately I had to kill all my WAV files as they took up too much space.
Basically it idled like a bridge except it would idle down to normal idle levels and it didn't take much load on the engine to make it run smoothly (even turning on the headlights was enough load).

heh, well mine idles pretty smooth, it'll even idle as low as the first marking after 0
Maybe it's not ported after all, if that's the case breathing mods are INCREDIBLE!

Can't convert to MP3 at the moment... BUT I do have a nice new Angle-fire web site at http://www.angelfire.com/oh5/izzmus with 15 megs more room and room to grow (unlike yahoo's inflexible system) so they'll be back up soon.
peejay, use LAME to convert to MP3. It's the best because it's an opensource project and constantly being worked on to improve it; unlike everyone else's encoders. It's what I used to convert that one wav file of yours back around Xmas.
From a LAME website:
"LAME MP3X is not mp3encoder, it is special tool, grafical mp3frame analyzer. It CAN NOT make mp3 files"
Has the wav to MP3 feature been added to the stable versions? (3.92)

www.mthreedev.com has some very good free converters and rippers.
