Engine Pully timing

OK, so my motor had been torn apart and the guy could time it so he sold it to me. i screwed with the distributor and got it running some what well but the timing marks are way off. is there a way to re set the timing marks with the distibutor out or the engine?

The pulley can go on 4 different ways 90 degrees out from each other. Its probably just installed in the wrong spot if its THAT far off.
