Yeah but they usually can't run those numbers on the street, unlike many of us turbo guys here.

Take one all motor 10 second honda engine out of it 1675# car, and drop it into a real street car at 2700# and street tires and you have you a nice mid to high 12 second ride with crappy street ability and an engine that is on the edge of exploding any second. Sounds like fun

Or put it in a lightened CRX and remain under 2000 lbs.
A juiced and turbocharged rotary that will run the same times will be even closer to destroying itself.
And what you call "crappy street ability", some of us call "fun".

As for your comment about the engine destroying itself... that just shows you have no knowledge about rotaries or engines and tuning in general.

Please enlighten me, as to why a Honda engine, an engine proven to be very capable of being built into an all motor drag engine, an engine that has proven itself reliable in that situation, would be more likely to be on the "edge of exploding".

Nah, this is a great place for information about my RX-7. I also have great places I go for information about my Subarus, and I wish I could find a place to go about Hondas.
I loved my Integra, there are very few things I could complain about. I just don't like seeing ignorant people knock them because of the reputation they have with certain crowds.

The best examples I've seen of what a rotary can do are here:
http://www.mazdacomp.com/customerscars.html
Don't get the wrong idea, I'm not knocking rotaries. If I was, why would I have an RX-7? I'm just defending Hondas, and pointing out that they're capable cars. I knew it wasn't likely to get any support, but that's ok.

The 12a that runs low 10s at 132! Sure, it took extensive work, but it makes 12a owners like me a little more optimistic.
I know you aren't knockin rotaries altogether, just...
them be fightin words ; )

True guys, hondas are ok cars, i mean anything can be fast with the proper amount of passion. But I must say the gay spoilers and stickers, with nothing under hood rings out to me the honda name.. Maybe they should bar fools from purchasing them LOL
Back to the naything can be fast comment, I dont personally like mini vans, but some dude took an old caravan and made it run low 10's. Peejay showed me a link once, I was like LOL
