If he is running long primaries you have to get the length in the system by crossing the car before you collect them right before the muffler. We have a similar set-up on an FC.

It was a good race. I just finished watching it. I just wish I could have seen a first gen closer to first place. That last lap was a killer though.

One of the best Runoff races I've seen. Watching the Touring 1 now, and it's boring compared to the E Prod. Disappointed that so many rotarys were put out of the race, but it' great to see all of those old cars that I grew up with. If only I had been into imports instead of muscle cars then, oh well.

Yep we have an EP car for sale. It ran up front at the runoffs in the past. Top 10. One of the fastest EP 12A First gens in the country.

And that FB that hit the wall, he is on the forum "cpa7man". He had some bad luck that race.

Carl,

I saw this at the Runoffs this year. Nobody was around when I looked at it otherwise I would have asked questions! Nice car - really clean. Looks to be a fair price also.

Isn't the complete ad posted somewhere?

Rich

Hey Rich,
No this car was not at the runoffs this year. Its really nicer than most 1st gen EP cars and is very well sorted. No expense spared. Multiple SCCA SARRC Championships and overall national wins. This is not my car Im trying to sell it for a friend.

one of our service writers happens to crew for that car, exhaust is longer so they could put an extra muffler in there. it apparently made more power too.

cpa7man had to have done something right to start in first, or how do they do qualifying for the runoffs? And yeah, the GT1 class race sucked. I would have liked to see Jung (FD driver) finish in a better place than what he started rather than worse, though.

Tom Thrash was the RX7 on the pole. cpa7man was the 7 that had the incident in the last corner when being lapped and smacked Brakke's Miata.

that blue/white FB looked like it had a serious chance at winning before the last lap where everyone span out and the first 5 guys got knocked out, looked like the FB got hit and then had to push back in.

cpa7man, damn! not even 10 seconds in the race and totalled so sad. i do believe they do proper qualifying for EP races, he just got bumped and lost control at the wrong time.

those races must be a f'ing blast!

Then Tom Thrash is a great driver, and I hope that cpa7man isn't too badly hurt, same goes with Brakke.

It was an exciting race, a lot more so than last last year. I was rooting for Thrash and the guy in the rx-3, but thrash crashed and the 3 spun out. E-production is so awesome! I want to get into racing like that someday. I just got my trial issue of Grassroots Motorsports and I'm getting all excited now.

Here is some in-car video from the EP Porsche 914 of Erik Madsen, he started 20th I believe and finished in 2nd place. His car sure does handle good down the back straight

I run in FP, so I usually run with the EP cars too.

the blue/white FB of Bob Neal was carrying too much speed into the corner and could not make it out driving on the track w/o hitting anyone. Great car, great driver, too much speed. The prelude he hit was none too happy. Better luck next year 1st gens!

Thats what brakes are for! I was watching this race from the hill and it looked like he was trying to win on the first lap. Loshak had the race won.

M-O is my home track, so I must have seen it at another race.

Wouldn't be the first time I was confused.
