Question drop in a 12aT?

i was just wondering this.

any one have any experiance with the 12at. im thinking of picking one up.

like turbo upgrades, FMIC, ect....

i figure a 13b TII swap would cost to much. not to mention it just sounds cool. 12aT lol

thanks

you'll get better performance and reliability out of a 13B than a jspec 12At. That turbo was offered in Japan only because there were knowledgeable rotary repair shops in abundance there as well as a parts supply to feed them.

That and the 12AT is too underpowered for the trouble if you ask me.

its definatly not underpowered! you need to ride in one.its easier to install than the 13b (front engine cover and oil pan dont need to be swaped)the only problem im having is keeping the 12a turbos in stock!
im going to make some videos of a stock port 12a t so you can see the potential! its surprising!

What kinda intake do you use on em Robert? Could I save up and buy an intercooler and then get the engine from you and slap my Weber on it for a blow through?
