Thumbs down Doesn't look right to me...

Pulled the axle because I thought I chewed a bearing, I took it apart and find that the bearing seems fine, but the axle seems a bit off. What do you guys think of it?

me either, but it seemed to actually work fine for at least 10-15k, or however long I've had it since there's virtually no trace of metal shavings. The previous owner did say he replaced one bearing right before I bought it, and I think he told me it was this side.

side note: 1000 posts...only took me 3.5 years

Depending on your current budget for the month ( or year) I'd put it on the list to try to get new. I cant be for sure if they're alot or around $100..

Moser Engineering sells axle shafts for $300 a pair. Lemmie find a link.

EDIT: Here...
http://www.rx7.org/jes/axles.html

You want them cut to STOCK length... The part numbers are for lengthened axles...

I guess I have a problem, then. I'm on my way past 500 with only a couple of months?!

I believe the axle shouldn't be thin like that just after the hub... Click the link I put up. It shows some SE stock axles, along with the Moser replacements.
