oh, try my 12a full j-bridge ceramic apex seal motor with 4.875 and 10" wide slicks. MUWHAHAHAHAH Boyeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!

you are changing the pinion gear also, right? I believe they are all machined as matched sets. If you change one, you change the other.

how do you remove the pinion??? that big nut on the thing that rotates... is hard to remove... what's your technique in getting it off...

impact gun is best way

otherwise go to Home Depot and buy a 3' piece of angle iron. drill 2 holes in it and bolt it to pinion flange. brace the angle iron against the ground to keep flange from rotating.

same thing I do to keep flywheel from moving when taking that big nut off.

if that was refered to me, no im not, if you follow my step by step instructions(end of pg1) you will notice that you dont have to reomve the pinion from either third member. all your swapping is the ring gears and the carriers(only to retain the mazda LSD)
