I've had one for years and really like it. Easy to tune and holds a tune well. Downsode is you need to go to the uk to get the best rebuild kits.

tg..has a point..but that does not mean that they are not available in the us...i got my rebuild kit from cb performance..only two minor modifications to two gaskets..you will need to make your own for the accelerator pump..and the holes need to be made bigger for the air cleaner gasket

I wouldn't sweat the parts availability. You can talk to either www.dellorto.com or go to eurocarb in L.A. for jets and rebuild kits. If you buy a rebuild kit, buy two (in case the parts do dry up) and get a new inlet screen, needle and seat. You can get jets if they're improperly sized.

Once you have a handful of parts, including a small assortment of jets, you're really done with consumable parts, so I'd go for it if it's a good deal.

thanks guys, I saw your thread. I was kinda put off by the look of the final product. It looks cluttered like the 13b.

I went to pick em up an hour ago and paniked at the last minuet and backed out and just bought center console and fenders.

I'm a downhill guy anyway so most of it was to get some power and "clean" up the engine bay. think i'm gonna shoot for the vertical RB's.

BUt thank you for the tips and extensive install info man.

If nothing else, let some of your local guys know about the Dellorto. They're great carbs, so it would suck to have them sold off to some schmuck that didn't know much better.

Listen to Crit, while the DHLAs are rare, they're a great street carb for the 7s. They do have advantages over the Webers, Having a choke instead of a starter circuit is a big one. The following link was written by Crit on the Vintage Rotaries forum. If the seller wants less than 200-250 for the carb, buy it.
