Dellorto servicability...

I think I've decided on picking up a Dellorto 48 if I can find jets and gaskets for it. Are there any shops that still support them?

Certainly over this side of the pond you can still buy them new along with all the jets and bits.

Yeah, this is old, but I'm still looking for gaskets.... I'm running on a Holley 650 for now but want to polish and rebuild the Dellorto - any idea where I can find DHLA 48 rebuild kits? All I know is that it's an old carb - no idea of its jetting or internal condition, so I plan on breaking it down. Any ideas?

CBPerformance didn't have what you needed? Well, they would have been my first guess. I think dvls-7 on this forum is selling a rebuild kit for the DHLA. If you find any good leads on parts, let me know, I have a 48 DHLA that I need to worl on soon. Good luck

I didn't think they still made 48's, just smaller carbs, 36's and 40's, that's why 48's are so damn expensive and hard to find.

I've delt with CB performance. They are VERY helpful and I have a book about turbo charging that the owner of the place wrote. he's awesome!

They deal with VW stuff but if you want to use a Delorto they are great especially if you are doing a turbo set up.

They want to help!!

Also, any idea what jets I should look for to keep a BP 4-port 13B happy? I'm just getting ready to retire the Holley and am looking for a good starting point on the jets.
