Fuel slosh in the float bowl.
Even with correct float level and everything else,no carburetor is immune to G's and high angles. What type of angle, and severity of the G's effects them,is dependant on the type of carb and the shape of its float bowl.

I dont remember the exact quirks of the Nikki carb, but I do remember that someone made a slosh baffle for it,to combat cut-out on either left or righthand turns when racing.

When you have EFI,there is a similar problem.
Not with the injectors, but with the fuel pickup inside the tank.On EFI,the fuel tank becomes the resevior that feeds the fuel sustem, instead of the carb's float bowl.If you dont have slosh baffles in the tank for the EFI fuel pickup, youll get exactly the same results when turning hard.EFI cars come with tank baffles from the factory, but they can sometimes break loose,or be overlooked when converting a carb'd vehicle to EFI.
Carbed engines dont need the fuel tank baffles so much, because they run very low fuel pump pressures, and a few air bubbles have less effect on fuel delivery to the engine since the bubbles can escape when delivered into the float bowl.

1st question I have to ask. Was it doing it before the fuel filter install? Also was it running perfectly and this just started to happen? Also does it do it more when the fuel level is low? And do you hear excessive noise coming from the fuel pump.

Mine had an issue like this, but only cut out on hard left turns. Tracked it down to a fuel pressure issue, which was overfilling one or both bowls a bit, then allowing it to run into the carb on the corners causing it to flood out.

How about the low fuel? Also what type of carb is it?

I would recommend running a fuel pressure/volume test also.

Well if it was running fine and nothing else had been touched then I would have to say that you need to perform the fuel pressure/volume test after you verify that you have good flow from the tank first. After that if you have good flow from the tank and the test reveals that you are within specs for volume and pressure. It's possible that you may have debri in the carb that is hampering the needle/seat function. Or a main jet is clogged up with debri.
