they do that a lot, they ask for pics of the parts installed and then use them. I remember seeing inittab's car in a ebay auction once for their crappy strut tower brace.

Yes. CP will give a discount on your next purchase if you send 'em pics of their parts installed in on your car.

Lights

What they don't tell you is that you'll need to install some fog/driving lights, like Max did, so that you can see going down the road.
Look below his bumper and you will see them.

I spoke with Mark (Max7) and he didn't say anything about the light pattern being bad. Which surprised me, actually. (Those fog lights have always been there AFAIK)

Fog lights illuminate the ground immediately in front of the car. That is not where the driver is (should be) looking when driving. (In foggy conditions, you want to be able to illuminate the ground with as little glare-back as possible, so the lights are low mounted, and yellow for optimal vision. You're not going to be driving very fast if the fog's bad enough to truly warrant fog lights)

Look at the lights, can they really give a good pattern on the ground to drive?
It look like they look good but are not very practical.

That is way I said fog/driving lights. They do make them both in the style.

Proper driving lights aren't that small or mounted that low. Any driving light that small, that low, is just a clear lensed fog light.

A proper driving light is like the high beams except with a much longer reach. I've yet to see a "mini" light that could do the deed.

addendum: Driving with your fogs/driving lights on all the time is similar to driving with your high beams on all the time, and should be grounds for immediate lampicide with hammers/axes.

You need to check out Piaa's website. They make an awesome driving/fog combo light and it is small enought to fit in the chevy silverado fog light holes.
Hope that helps

Max7 really knows his ****. He's an Ohioan and I've seen his car, anything he touches for his 7 is understood and worked over. CPRacing sells kits, how good those kits come out still depends on how good the person installing them is.

What I'm trying to say is that he may use the same kit everyone else does, but I'm pretty sure he's tweaked it a bit. The embodiment of a tuner.

Lights

It would be interesting for him to tell us how good they light up the road over stock then over the diamond cut lamps.

So much for browsing their over priced website. I've heard way too many bad things about CP now. I guess I'll stick with RB, and Mazdatrix.

since Max is in the US and CP in Canada, a cease and decist would be toothless. That said, if it becomes known that any suppliery is using pics of customers cars without customers consent it won't look good for them.

It's going on ebay. Its a decent kit, works ok. and for someone who has no way of making one would be good.
But not on my car, upclose it makes my car look cheap when you see the rigged setup they used.
