water coming out of the little hole on the top or bottom means that the seal inside is bad allowing the coolant to get by the seal. the water has to go somewhere so it comes out of the hole. you need a waterpump.

Just put some JB weld in the holes! JK sorry bored. Yup same thing happened to me on my current project. I thought it was leaking out of bolt hole, took off, got new gaskett and still leaked.. Waterpumps are pretty darn cheap though, think I paid 25-40 bucks for mine.

i replaced my pump once thinking it was bad but i found out it was the gasket between the pump housing and the block. you might want to replace that too when you replace the pump just to be sure

New Waterpump is $50 from rockauto.com and it looks just like an OEM unit. You can use some of that blue silicon gasket sealer on the gasket. Get the bolts finger tight evenly before applying a wrench, then Torque up the bolts evenly using a bolt pattern. Don't overtighten. Might be a good excuse to get that 1/4" drive preset Torque wrench from harbor freight. Don't overtighten the drivebelt or you'll wearout the new oilite bushing in the waterpump very quickly, like a couple months. Please observe the FSM spec for belt play.
