If I had to guess I'd say because it's a cap from a video that's been deinterlaced.

nope - that back wheel does look 'chopped... and I'm usually the last to call a chop job. De-interlacing still leaves bluring of an object in motion. The pixelation on the hood = video capture. The pixelation and sharp contrast of the black at the rear wheel well - computer overpaint.

I wasn't even looking at the rear wheel, just the interlacing artifacts on the hood.

I can't tell for sure if the rear tires were changed, but the shadow looks more like something MS paint would do than photoshop.

So, I guess you were right Manntis. It had to happen sometime!

But, just to get in my blows in this one, there's more than one way to skin an interlacing artifact. The result isn't always going to be blurring.

So do people just chop these pics and expect someone not to notice? What is the point of starting a thread about a pic that is not even real. Sorry for the negative comments, but damn, that is a bad chop. At least try to fool us.

its elecrical taped 6 man, we run 2 drivers in that car and well didn't have our magnetic numbers so we had to improvise. as you can tell by the 2nd pic we definately need a new paint job. Do you like the bronzish overlay on the first pic. I think its pretty cool.

Got any wide body's preferably in silver? Its the easiest color to overlay and we're going EP next year so we'll have wide body. Just trying to play with paint schemes.....

We have a forum called Test Area 51 for hosting pics.

Drop the weed and do some looking before you spam up the 1st gen Tech section.
