Yeah, 225 psi is way too high.
95 psi is a bit low, though.

225? yea ok, hey I got a bridge I need to sell, wanna buy it?

Stock iron apex seals 105-150 hot

90 Min, no more than 20 psi difference between chambers, and It will not run below 70psi.

Knowing Hayes, the author simply held his hand in front of the sparkplug hole and wrote down, "feels like 85 psi" and got lucky.

Mitchell manual for '83 clearly states:
Minimum 86psi
Maximum Variation 21psi

For '84 the Minimum drops to 85psi. Why? Who knows, maybe a misprint.

So if I had 85 PSI on one rotor and 95 on the other it would mean my engine needs rebuilding? There seems to be so many different compression figures on this forum!!!

No, they dont wanna see more than 20psi diff between chambers of the same rotor. That means you have a bad seal, usually apex.

Im telling you its 105-150, thats straight from Mazda.

And the will not run below 70 is from personal experience.
