other than the historical aspect of it, it could be reproduced for far less money.

true... but who wants a replica??? WHoever buys it will probably just put it in a museum or something.

I am not saying to reproduce it to replica status, I am talking about building a car identical to or better than this one for competion purposes.

furthermore, you see US spec GT RX-7's going up for sale for around that same amount with a running competitve engine installed, along with a couple spare engines, and other misc spare parts, trans, wheels, diffs, body work sometimes.
