Cat

how much louder will my car be if i replace the cat with a staight pipe. Its clogged and im too cheap to by a new one. I dont want it to be loud either. My air pump clogged it i think.

It goes from a muffled volkswagon-like whisper with the cats to a respectable rumble with a bonez presilencer and generic muffler, a nice exhaust note without being too loud. Also I got a significant power boost when I replaced the stuffed up old cats with the bonez. A straight pipe would be a bit louder, I suppose, and of course your muffler will have an effect too.
