Carter fuel pump problem?

Carter fuel pump problem?
Ok, I had the Carter fuel pump running great, a few weeks later car stuttered in driveway so i turned it off, fuel filter was really dirty so installed a new one, car wouldn't start. Car has a Holley FPR installed although not dialled in yet.
Now I disconnected the front fuel line and turned it over, no fuel, went back to rear and removed storage bin to ensure power, this is confirmed.
Removed fuel pump connected it to another power source and it ran, evacuating the remaining fuel inside the pump. Reinstalled pump, decided to check lines for blockages, all lines were able to be blown through.
Removed roll over valve in case it was the culprit, still no fuel to front.
Is the pump bad? How do I test it?
I'm out of ideas, anybody?

Did you test power at the pump itself? How many volts? The valve is a oneway valve, make certain it is hooked back up correctly. Check for leaks in the lines prior to the pump. I had a similiar problem and thought it was the pump. Had a sub-pinhole leak in the steel line.

It's possible that the pickup in the tank is clogging. Sure you can blow through it, you'd be blowing crud away from the inlet.
Run a hose from the pump's inlet to a can or something with gasoline in it, see if it will draw from that. First things first.
Really weird...

I finally removed it, put an oem filter just before the pump. 3 filters and one more time of dropping the tank and cleaning it for the 3rd time, I'm good.

OK took PeeJay's suggestion, fuel pump did not draw from container of gas, removed pump again and ran it outside of the car through filter, no gas drawn, removed filter and tried again, no gas drawn, conclusion: pump is junk.
Can hear pump running and sounds fine but somehow nothing is going through.
While I had it out used compressed air back into tank and drained tank, fuel came out very clean despite being disturbed by air no visible sign of rust or other crud.
