carberator put back in
I need help i'm putting my rebuilt carb back into my 83 rx-7 but the haynes manual doesnt give me a diagram or good picture to see where all the cables and tubes go so if anyone knows please help!

welcome to the board.
this is the first thread that came to mind with photos. it's not the best choice, but it was the quickest, so bear with me.

if you look at post 9, the first photo:
1. you will see the throttle linkage, where the throttle cable goes, to the lower right (little semi-circular thing)
2. the choke cable, goes to the top. it is shown in the next photo (viewed from the top).
3. again, in the first photo ... dead center, you'll see two nipples. those are for the MOP lines.

I just put my nikki back in on the weekend,
make sure to hook up the accelerator cable and the OMP linkage before you bolt the base down you might need a spare set of hands as its awkward and the carb weighs a bit, took me forever to get them both on with the carby bolted down lol at least I know for next time.
