It's 4th of July i am sure he doesn't want to be bothered god you guys you act like it is a steal of a lifetime and if i don't get it right this second it will sell.

I will try to meet with him tomorrow i will try to nit pick him on some stuff and try to low ball him to see if he will go down. Is the wheels and rims worth the extra $200 he wants they don't look that cool?

 

Cody, word of advice. Go look at the car. If you like it, give him the $1650 and be happy.

If you don't like it, leave it for someone who does.

Low balling will just make you look like a cheap *** kid who doesn't know anything about cars, especially FBs.

The owner of that white RX-7 has put a good deal of work in it and he knows what he's got.

He won't have any trouble finding a buyer.

I don't think he has put any work in it i think he bought it like that last spring and he said he hasn't had time to work on it.

 

Besides everybody haggles on craigslist definitely on cars.

 

I will probably meet him tomorrow and check out the car if it is for me is there anything i should be paying attention to i might see if i can get him to go down to around $1300 $1400 with the 15in rims .

It's a used car sale. There's no 'dibs.' Unless you pay the man, there is no sale, no obligation, nada.

If I saw that ad and lived in Minnesota, I'd have sniped it days ago. It looked like a fantastic deal.

 

But still he knew i was buying it and taking alook at it Friday and he knew i wanted it and he bought it from under me.

 

Here's a tip. Next time you find a great deal on an Rx7, don't post it on an RX7 Forum until you already purchased it

 

Well i never knew you guys were a bunch of back stabbing dicks! I thought this forum was to help people not steal from them. Since i have been here i have been bashed for asking questions and stolen when i asked about a car not a very warm welcome.

 

Can't lose what you don't own. If you had put a deposit on the car it would be a different story. Cash talks. I told you in the 2nd post in this thread it was a fair price... Should've snapped it up.

Let's say I have a car on Craigslist. Guy #1 calls, says he wants to see it in 6 days. Guy #2 calls, comes to see it that day with cash in hand and is willing to pay the asking price. Unless he's put a deposit on the car, I have absolutely no obligation to Guy #1. Just don't. Not real complicated.
