That looks like a pretty good deal. Price seems fair. Seller put together a "full disclosure" ad; always a good sign. Not my favorite color combo by a long shot, but otherwise, I'd hit it.
If the motor is strong, its a good deal and the racing beat license plate frame adds 5-10 hp so ive been told.
If not, you do the math to determine the total cost for the accessories such as sway bars, tokicos and such. Then add your estimated value of the shell. I hope it has a weak motor as it is your ACE to low ball the seller.

Here is what he said sounds very serious on price.. I have added as many details as possible to prevent having to answer a million anonymous questions. If the add is up, the car is for sale. I will not take offers, the price is the price - I know the market, and my price is fair (if not even a little low). However, I will sell it without the 15" wheels for $1400

I'd say it's absolutely worth it, but price ranges vary from region to region. The upgrades are good ones, close to $1000.00 if you were to buy them new.
I say go for it. And you've got a good parts car standing by. If you want to get used to working on your car, you could strip your rust bucket and have a shed full of spares, junk the shell.

That is a good deal on the car. Not my color choice, interior color, or trim level either but I'm pretty fricken picky. Would be a great daily car and has some awesome upgrades. I'd just drive it as is and use your current car for parts.
Yeah there would be no point swapping the engine over if that one works. I will take off the manifold and switch it over most of my parts won't work on this car my car was a better model with alot better upgrades like power windows and such. Do you guys think i can get him down any on his price mebe if i can nick pick him on alot of stuff when i am there and tell him how much work it will take. If i do get the car i will strip the car and repaint it white with a red interior is not a good choice.
Your car has more than just the intake manifold; you have a totally different carb, headers and what looks like removed emissions too.
Debatable as to whether that's an upgrade. I'd rather have manual windows. YMMV.
I wouldn't. It's a fair price, it sounds like the seller knows what he's talking about re:the performance parts. I'd hand him the cash and be done with it.

So can a take my upgraded parts off my engine as switch them over to that one or would i have to switch over the whole engine? Yes i would rather have manual windows to i am having so much problems with my power windows in my car. Do you think i should take the 15in wheels with the car or have him take them off looks like alot of stuff needs to be done to fit them.

$1650 is a fantastic price for this car. Take him some cash and drive away a happy guy. I wouldn't even swap over your carb. If you're concerned about cash, sell it.
For a daily driver, nothing beats the Nikki (unless you can get your hands on the elusive dual carb RE setup. God, I miss that so freaking much!)

Eventually maybe, but I think you should leave the car alone, except to fix what needs fixing, and learn to drive it and experience it before you start throwing aftermarket stuff at it.
Yeah but i already paid a guy $300 to fix my car so i need to have him to something to fix car. Whats the worse that can happen adding aftermarket stuff it already has alot of upgrades on it.
Wait. You paid a guy $300 to fix something on your car without being specific about what he was going to fix?
Am I understanding that correctly?
The worst that could happen is that the carb is difficult to tune and you never get to drive the car, or it won't run right when it does and not having really driven the car and that positive experience to motivate you, you lose interest and dump the car. Better minds than yours and mine have been stumped by Webers and Dell'Ortos (carbs).
Then again, they did fire the first Space Shuttle into orbit "all up," so I guess it could turn out okay.

I paid a guy $300 to fix a electrical issue in my car so we thought turned out to be a dead battery. So then he was going to fix my rotors, pads, struts, and some other small things. So i need to have him do some work in this car if i buy it. After this i will be working on the car myself.
