Bridge Port Turbo 12A were to get the right carb cheap!

Ok so i was doing the internet search and found a great carb for a big street port or bridge port turbo 12A setup, its a Demon 850 most ofthe carbs that are boost prepped are like 800$ but this place is cheaper might be able to get a group discount of like 10 or so i talked to the for a bit and he just builds these cuz hes retiered.

http://wpsracing.com/ca850cfmmide1.html

check it out and let me know what you think i might just have to get it for when i get a 13B rebuilt

The break down cash wise.

Carb. http://wpsracing.com/ca850cfmmide1.html 583.99

Intake 12A http://www.racingbeat.com/FRmazda1.htm 262.00

Intake 13B http://www.racingbeat.com/FRmazda1.htm 268.00

Manifold plate 12A http://www.racingbeat.com/FRmazda1.htm12A/13B 24.00 + welding of turbo flange to pipe and engine outlet

Turbo your choice mine would be t3/t4 hybrid ar .57 trim 130.00+ plumming

Grand total for turbo kit base price without add ons or plumming 999.99 wow didnt plan that.

you might be able to have the guy make a demon 600 boost ready that would be good for a stock 12a and it might be a hundred less.

Hey Doc if this is in the wrong place to post this sorry in advance.

ebay has standard t3/t4 turbos oil cooled for 140 all day long brand new.
this is all in choice like a said you can go big or go small im working on setting up a system that works for a stock 12a and a 57 trim t3/t4 is in that budget range.

Last time I checked all of those turbos have a .63 A/R t3 exhaust side which is a little small.

DirectFreak informed me that a .90 or somewhere in the 80s would be best for my setup. Too bad I'm a little fuzzy on turbo lingo at this point. But I'm learning!

yes for doing 12 pounds and having boost in the higher range a 70 trim is about perfect but the 57 boosts quick and doesnt flood the stock engine with PSI

Im still working all the math for a stock engine i need a donor engine that i can test how much it will take so im looking around for a running 12a once i get it ill put the stuff on and boom test it....lol

your right on the .57 for a quicker spool, but home boy up there is correct on the turbo sizes that ebay offers...Every once in a while you will run into something different with a different size and what not, but you have to be on the look out..but there there...

For a g bar that is not too bad tho...actually that is not bad at all...but you could save a lot of money and test your luck with a buying a used 12a holley intake manifold...

The waste gate, running to the air or just re route it back into the plumb...your call...Dont forget the carb hat...they run like $100-$150 all day on ebay...or you can find them through a outside source...

You can save some money too - a Simple S5 TII Turbocharger is almost perfect. It's a good size, and offers decent power (over 300whp),
and plenty of low end torque. Add and external wastegate, and you're golden.

A T3 is wayy too small.

A 63 hotside is too small.
(You will overspin the turbo, run hot air, and choke the exhaust.)

For a Street setup that isn't laggy/top end only - keep it the hot side between .80 and .96.

Here's
some good Turbo Info

Nick, I think that the only way you could blow a rotary faster than you have in the past is by adding boost.

This should be interesting though. I look forward to seeing how it turns out. Good luck man. ..
