bogging

ok car idles fine now but everytime i step on the gas it boggs out and dies or i have to feather it too keep it going. anyone got any ideas or things to check?

Its probably a fuel system thing. I am sure everyone else will say to check lines for clogs, replace filter, etc.

all done fuel system is fine filter pump screens yadda yadda

might be accel. pump, umm, leaking secondaries, float level too high.. start with those.

im gonna take a stab in the dark and say rebuilding my carb will probably help this alot

Might want to take a quick look at your ignition system too. Losing your lead ignition can sometimes cause symptoms similar to your description. Good luck!

accel pump. The extra squirt of gas that helps the car being able to handle more than subtle acceleration is not happenning. See if it's leaking when you accelerate.

nothing leaks at all at any time does the accel pump come with a rebuild kit?

yea, you get an accel. pump with a rebuild kit.
