79 12a 5speed.

Having an issue where if I quickly push the accelerator the car bogs/hesitates. This also makes starting the car annoying.

I just rebuilt the carb, gas is squirting so I presume the accelerator pump is working. It's adjusted so the lever is parallel with the slot casing. Is this adjustment good/correct?

The richer solenoid (I think) is unplugged as the wire is broken. Unsure if this effects anything.

It has no air pump and has a block off plate.

I guess I should check fuel flow. Adjust fuel/air mixture?

But what else could it be? It was not doing this initially but this is why I rebuilt the carb as I thought that was the issue.
