Exclamation Yet another call to the carb gurus (nikki)

This isnt my problem its my friend's. Here is what he is saying:

The car starts when cold - idles just fine.
After the car warms up, idles fine.

The second you blip the throttle (only when warm) the carb completely floods out. As in, acts exactly like the needles stuck and gas starts pouring out and filling the barrels which in turn stalls the engine. He was thinking fuel pump but Im not so sure since it only happens when the car is at normal operating temp (or very close to).

Ideas? Emissions are completely removed. The only thing electrical that is hooked up is the air vent solenoid which seems to be working. No recent changes have been made to the car. It has been daily driven for over a year now ever since I rebuilt the carb. The problem suddenly happened, and after checking and rechecking things this is where we are at.

Is it both sides of the carb that are flooding, front and back?

Do both bowl glasses show filled to the top when this happens?

Supposedly fuel is right in middle as its supposed to be. He says that it is only coming out of the secondaries, but Im not sure if its actually both.

He also is currently installing an FPR just in case its the pump that is now suddenly pumping more than it should (internal reg set to 4.5).

Crap in the secondary air bleeds?

If the air bleeds get blocked, there's no way for the carb to balance the vacuum created in the booster venturi, so it just siphons fuel straight from the bowls as soon as any air is flowing through the secondaries. I don't think that would happen off a "blip" unless you have mech secs and your "blip" goes into them, but it's the best I can think of at the moment.

I'd get out a can of compressed air, take the top off the carb and make sure that all your air bleeds are clear. While you're in there, you might as well pull the needles from their seats and give both a blast too. Be very gentle. And remember - "Don't touch yer damn floats!" as Sterling would say.

FPR is not a bad idea, but I'd also toss a second filter in there. I've got two - one down by the pump/tank, and another see-through one in the engine bay in the fuel line just before the carb. You can never be too careful, even the smallest speck of crap can have a carb running really wonky.

Fuel system not venting can cause this.
Plugged/capped fuel tank vent line or FBS not hooked up...?
