Blinkers stopped working

hello I have a 1983 rx7 gsl. not too long ago i realized my secondary jets cable wasn't connected so i fixed it. I'm sure it's not related but once i turned the car back on after that my blinkers stopped working. Hazards work just fine. I'm still very new to working on cars and electrical work is my weak point haha. Not sure what i should check first? thanks for taking the time to read this!

Start by looking for voltage at the light with blinkers on and then half split the circuit back to the source (battery). The wiring diagrams can be found here.

Bulbs, fuses in the fuseblock, then the flasher relay above the drivers left ankle. In that order. Tapping on the relay sometimes frees up the metal bar switch and it starts working again.

But he said the emergency flasher are working, so the flasher is fine. Check voltage at the bulb and then work back to the stalk on the steering column. It could be a fuse or just dirty contacts in the column switch.
