I'm running 205/50R16s. There's no rubbing, but clearance is tight. Because of the square shoulders of the low profiles I'd recommend against 215 in front.

That is a great looking 7 Manntis!!!

I had those same wheels on my GSL but at the time had the SE suspension under it. I had 16x7s, 205/50-16s(or was it 205/45-16s?). The car had the RB 1" lower springs on it and it only rubbed in a hard turn hitting a bump.

Oh yah, the fenders are flared and I am in the process of cutting them and adding flares to the flared fenders!!! The car is very low!!!! My driveway has an incline to it and the car drags going into the garage. My car hauler is dove tail with extended ramps and hollow in the center so the exhaust wont rub!!!

What do you guys think about these? They are 15x6.5. I dig the BBS or Split spoke look. The kosis look alright, but these seem better.

a bit 'modern' for the car, but tasteful

I don't know, i like my 15 inch Team Dynamics, they're not the lightest, but they're not dead weights.

I'll try and get a decent shot of the wheels.

Those Panasport on Felix Wankel's charcoal 1st gen is sweet! Looks great! (all you need is a nice speed bump at 50 mph to take off that air damn and you'll be styling).

i like the look of rx7gsl-se's picture with them rims, it looks nice...i think that 16's look the best on the car itself, but i think that for drag i would use the 13's stock rims, but thats just my opinion

I'd like to get motegi mr7's or mr12's in 15 or 16 inch...

Or axis vdp's in 15 inch.... I like some rubber with my rims... that way i'm less likely to scratch them...

You can always change them back, and get some wheels to drive on that are more comfortable, more attractive and provide better performance. THat's the beauty of wheels. You can change them around and it's no biggie to return to stock if you want to.

Powerslave, those are great! Is the car a SE? Tell me those rims will fit a GSL! Those wheels are exactly what I want.

Oh... I just noticed... Australia. You guys have all the good stuff down under!

That's a Series III, so the wheels are 4x114.3mm.

.... I wish... i found them at tirerack.com, but only for the SE. I looked freakin everywhere for days trying to find a manufacturer's web site, but to no avail. They look like they could be custom drilled, if you could find the manufacturer. If you do, let me know.
