Best 13b setup for rebuild.

Hi guys ive recently acquired a 13b s5 for the cheaps (well the whole car actually) and im wonder what the best rebuild path is for it for maximum NA power WITHOUT a bridgeport for PP. As in, what internals? ive heard the s5s 6 port doesnt make as much power as a 4 port. where does this 4 port come from? my 12a? What is the best over all parts combination from 13bs/12as to get the most out of NA?

Also how to semi PP perform? do the increase engine wear? I saw an interesting video on them and the guy claimed they dont wear anymore than a regular street port would. I plan on going with an IDA 48 when the time comes, but is there any way to adapt the nikki over? or would that be gutting potential performance to much by doing so?

with the FC engines the NA was a 6 port, and the Turbo was a 4 port. the best combo using FC parts is the T2 irons, with the S5 NA rotors. if you are going to run a 48IDA you might as well street port it, and you should be right around 175-185 at the wheels, give or take. it would be a lot of fun, and very simple.

What does it take to hit the magical 200WHP na? without a bridge port or PP? is it possible? Would my 12as irons be a good place holder if i cant find tii irons? which is better performance wise? I dont need to stay within FC stuff if something else is possible to hit that magical number (except renisis, **** that engine to hell)

Mazda moved the water seals for the FC, so the housings are incompatible. you could pull both engines apart, buy some new GSL-SE rotor housings, use the 12A irons, and the S5 rotating assembly and have essentially the same thing.

you could hit 200hp with a street port if you spent a lot of time tuning.

the FC intakes will land you around 155hp max.

its lighter, but you then need to balance the assembly. the FC rotating assembly is perfectly fine to 9500rpm.
