My buddy selling me his 13b NA for 100dollars and I have 84 gsl should I rebuild and port my 12a or go with a rebuild and port 13b instead please advice thanks

 

I'd ****** that 13b for $100 if aesthetics look good. Ask him how it was running before he pulled it out. And I'd rather go with a 13b rebuilt with ports than the 12a. Would be an upgrade, but you'll be spending more though.

 

Yea it works fine he just said because I'm always at his shop helping him he's giving it to me for a 100 he just said needs rebuild and port and he's a rotary specialist well I wanted to know if I 13b would be good to go Carb with the 13b cause I'm scared of efi to expensive to tune hahaha

 

"Only needs rebuild and port;" well, there's $1000+ in parts, assuming the housings are up to snuff.
