Remember Crit got this car in boxes, without a motor, just a few months ago. Careless mechanic he ain't.

But can he convince me that EFI is better than carbs?

I doubt it.

Yeah, the car's running great. It loses a little oil, but it starts on the first turn of the key each and every day. My commute isn't but 3 miles, but the car JUST manages to get warmed up by the time I get to work on the coldest of days. It's great driving the little car, squirting from home to the office, but never really burning enough gas to notice. I think I lose more to evaporation than atomization.

I'm still using a borrowed glass sunroof from Ray, and need to put the AC back in, and the newly-swapped-in grey dash doesn't light up (logicon's dead, lights are dead, etc) so it's likely just a missed plug in the harness, but with a 5-minute commute, it's not an issue.
