Alternator Relocation Bracket GB re-opened

I've re-opened the group buy on our alternator relocation brackets. 25 units are available for the GB at a price of $65 each, including a stock-type flat tensioner. Some details have changed, so be sure to read THIS POST before ordering. Look back to the first few pages of the thread to see photos, etc.

[EDIT: I forgot to mention, the new brackets were re-designed to also fit the 83-85 12As, with the air/water oil cooler, unlike the previous version.]

Thanks,

Pay the deposit of $10 and your place in line will be held for up to two weeks from the time the brackets ship, so you will have a couple more weeks to pay. The brackets will be shipped in the order of payment, but I'm only accepting 25 deposits. I did the same thing last time and I think it worked out pretty well.

Whoops!
I just realized I sent $10 CDN instead of US...

I hope that'll still count as my deposit...

Can someone tell me why this was moved here? It was a NOTICE of the GB; not the Group Buy thread, itself. This is redundant. It would be better to have deleted it than moved it. I am sorry if it offended some moderator, but the intent was only to make people aware that a popular GB was back on again...I rather doubt people are going to look in an old GB thread and read 9 pages to see that more items are suddenly available again, without some notice. People also don't necessarily look in the GB Forum without some notice in their own Generational Forum that anything is happening. I did this very same thing, previously, when the GB first opened many months ago. So, delete if offensive or move back if appropriate; just don't leave it here to confuse people over which thread is the "real" GB thread. Thank you.

WTF...???

The Forum is a getting a bit draconian about posting in relation to products for sale...

Well, I think it was just a misunderstanding, but I would have preferred they PM me before doing that so I could clarify the intent of the thread. It's not against the Forum rule to post a notice of a group buy in related sections (at least, I couldn't find anything saying it was prohibited) and it does make perfect sense to keep it as a technical thread for answering the inevitable "will this work with my XXXX setup" without cluttering the GB thread. I did the exact same thing the last time around and there was no problem whatsoever.

Thank you, Sir. If you wish, go ahead and delete post 7-12 to get rid of the clutter. [EDIT: and this one, too, of course; #13 ]

Since I just got a "Payment Accepted Notice" from Paypal, I'll assume all is well...

Yes. Check the GB thread for updates and post this kind of question there. Your Cunucks equalled USD $8.25. That's fine for the deposit; I'm just trying to sort out the serious people from the dreamers. Just remember that your balance will be USD $1.75 more, plus whatever additional shipping.
