ok i have a 84 im swaping a 81 motor into.... swaped the intake and figured i was good to go well it has to have starting fluid added to startup but once she fires up it runs ok.... but wont run below 2500rpm. so i think its the carb so i swap my known good 83 carb on to it. a little eazyer to start but still have to spray it to start. and nope wont idle below 2500 eather... what do you all think? shutter valve?
I did drive it around my block and MAN it has no power... i know the motor is good its my street ported 12a with 40k on it
