I can hear the relay click but car won't turn over. Details are as follows.
So I've gotten the car out of the Winter to realise the car won't start. Replaced the battery, battery is verified good. I've done a current draw and it dips down to about 10v or so when I enter into the starting mode.
I've replaced the starter with a reman and there's no change. I've bench tested both starters with a battery, screw driver, some cables and I can get both to shoot out the pinion as well as spin with some force.
I've measured the voltage at the starter and it reads 12v, starter contact on the wire is good, solenoid good, grounding on the body is good.
Fuses are good, fusable links are good, I can hear the fuel pump working in the trunk so I'm going to assume the relay is sending the necessary signals.
I can hear the starter solenoid clicking and it sounds like it's forcing the pinion into place; however, the car refuses to turn over. I can turn the motor over with my hands at the flywheel and I used a ratchet at the front; motor is free and moves fine.
Any ideas? I can't for the life of me seem to figure this out.

 

Make sure the starter connections are really clean and tight. Could just be corrosion or a poor connection. Also you may have bad positive and/or negative cables. Whats the voltage drop at the starter like for both? It should be very little.

 

That's what I'm attempting to do when my buddy gets off of work. So far, all I've managed to do is get a continuity test through the wire into the engine bay but I can't get further since I can't be in two places at once.

 

Update (for anyone else having the same issue)
Did a drop test finally now that I had some help. Found out the connection of the wire to the wire connector was loose. Stripped, replaced, all is well now.
