79 dash clock

Has anyone repaired these? Mines analog, not a huge deal but it’d be kinda cool to get it working if it’s a relatively simple fix.

Usually its the relay behind it mounted to the outside of the circuit board that fails, I have heard. Analogue instruments like the actual clock can prob be fixed by specialists, but moot if its the relay. You can buy complete clusters on ebay starting at $35, so worth getting the whole assy. Easy swap, esp if it is just the relay that is bad...

Thanks I’ll keep a lookout on eBay. All I’ve seen so far are $140 ones

I think I have a spare cluster actually. If I do I'll send you the relay.

No way to know if it's good to be honest. I'm not certain how to test it. You are welcome to the one spare I have. I pulled it from the cluster this evening.

No need, I'm happy to pay it forward. Just shoot me your name and address and I'll drop in in the mail in the next few days. Crossing my fingers it's still good.
