84 dash to 81 car

is there an easier way to change out an 81 dash to an 84 dash w/o having to rewire it all? my 81 dash is all cracked

Not really, basically everything from the 84 car will have to be swapped, the gauges are all different, so the wiring it different as well. You'd be better off just replacing it with another 82 dash.
