Seals are NLA from Mazda, Madatrix, Atkins, etc. Where is everyone finding taillight seals for these cars? A couple old posts suggest someone was manufacturing them at some point on ebay but they are all dead links these days. Best I have been able to find was Phil's Rotary on ebay and PacPerformance, both Australia based. They look to me they are selling the same part, and I ordered a pair of seals from Phil's Rotary and the fitment is poor and still leaking.
I just bought some BUT they were not easy to install and the quality was very questionable, Let me shoot you the link ! If any one else want's them PM Me,
- Edit, NEVERMIND they are sold out .
Also i agree with you on the phills, the gasket quality is trash and they don't fit well without excessive trimming.

I think it's best to make our own with silicone and weather sealer , I found a few OEM new old stock but some one seems to have bought them all.
What about Butyl tape? The thick type. I used what I'll call Butyl rope around the brake booster and clutch master. It was a 1/4 " round strips about a foot long. This stuff never dries out, seals great, and conforms.
here is an example. Not the brand or type I used but just enough to give you same ideas.

Prob a bit of too-late advice, but may help with future applications?
IF you do find an actual set of seals (and perhaps this may be useful with your own creation...?):
When I pulled my original (then 30yr old) seals and SA lights out of the chassis, the OE rubbers simply tore as they had sort of affixed themselves to the bodywork.
I read up - and applied this solution: btw the two sides of the seal (body contact points), run a finger-tip smear of CHASSIS-LUBE grease btw.
This seals up nicely for weather protection BUT does NOT allow the rubber to 'seal' onto the metal, and then stick and tear on a removal. Used this for 20 yrs now works like a charm!!

Pac Performance buys wholesale from Phils - they are the same product.
As noted above, the factory taillight to body seals stick to the bodywork - are they meant to be stuck on? Mine were stuck on the body when removing taillights as well.
Perhaps that is why the Phils' ones don't seal properly? I have a pair but haven't fitted them and I must say the material and shape looks fine to me. I suspected it would require a bead of buytl rubber as an adhesive/sealant.

The ones I got from Phil are basically too short on the bottom side. I suppose adhering it to the body would allow you to stretch it out and fit in the bottom side. I’d rather get a gasket that fits to begin with though.
Mine were also stuck to the car and tore when I removed them. Now I’m wishing I never messed with them.
