I like how the article states that a failed apex seal will cause heavy smoking and oil consumption. Last time I checked the apex seals don't keep oil out of the combustion chamber. I believe that's the job of an oil control ring if I'm not mistaken?

Oh well, at least we got the nod in the article. Good first gens have definitely been going up in value lately.

Yup another article incorrectly promoting the myth that rotary apex seals are an inherent flaw. Tell that to my 12As.

I use to be one of those guys that knock the rotary engine until I got mine and rebuilt another. I guess articles like that help me knock it too. All in all still a great find the article that is.

I've driven the Honda 600. I made the early Civics look big by comparison. They were literally a motorcycle on 4 wheels with a dash mounted 4 speed gear shift. A real hoot to drive.
