Does anyone have anything bad to say about ALS seals?

I have been researching into the ALS "unbreakable" apex seal for the rebuild i am currently in the middle of. I have found lots of good things to say about them but I was just wondering if i could stir up some more info. Also is there an "official" retailer for them? Or where can i get a set? and also has anyone bought the ones one ebay sold but dragon performance? lets hear your thoughts on these seals.

I would talk to DJ Seven. He uses them on the majority of his engines. I believe there is a large thread about it in "General Rotary".

From everything i've heard and read as well... it seems the ALS seal are worth every penny. Chances are something else in your motor will break well before the ALS seals give.....

The only thing i can say bad about them is they are not free! I made 764hp with them and they worked like a charm. Just make sure that your EGTs are in check or they will warp (like any soft seal). Call Edgar at E&J, he is the best person to go trough. And tell him Allen sent you.

Bad things to say not really. I have a set and my builder says the
Seals were very nice.

Only concern is trying to get a set. Holy Hell. Leave all of the distributers
Alone and contact Edgar personally. Awesome guy!
