ok so im kinda new to first gen rotorys and me and my brother always argue wether first gens have apex seals
i say yes he says no who is right???

Ask your brother how he thinks a rotary without apex seals can develop compression? Then send him to the link in my sig so he can read the FSM and learn the basics of any rotary.

I heard the valve springs on the 12A tend to loose their elasticity after a while.

I heard if you pour blinker fluid down the carb of any rotary, it builds compression for 3 days.

just tell your brother he was right, and them have him fill your headlight fluid cause 1st gens tend to leak bad!!! why do you think its hard for you to see at night or in the rain in these cars!!!

just make sure you watch your muffler bearings in the 1st gens, they tend to spin after 80k miles due to the pounding they take from the massive torque your 12a produces. this can be fixed with forged pistons from CP.
