13b.... 12a ?

the 13B is a EF right? also curious as to what its stock HP is about , compared to a 12A stock...?

ahhhhh it said that only GSL-SE's have the 13B EFI, this is true? if so im prety happy cuz my dad is in vancouver gettin me a 1985 didnt know what model it was but he said the guy said the engine was a 13B, only payin 250$ cdn for it, engin needs a tune up tho. but hey the body is in Excelent condition, main reason i was gettin it heh.

Yes its true. The 13B was only used in 1st gen GSL-SE cars stock, and all 2nd and 3rd gen cars. Although, it is a common swap to put the 13B into a 12A car. Youre just gonna have to wait and see what you have .

well, i dont know if its "common" to put ina a 13b.... just common as engine swapping goes, which isn't really all that common.

DUDE! i think i know which one you're talking about. i saw it in the buynsell... i think it may require more than just a tuneup at that price... mazda rotaries are not like volvo engines....

but good luck. even if the engine is shot it's not a bad price for just good chassis.

yea thorin , buy and sell, my dad put the down payment on it , pickin it up today i think... body and everything else is in great shape he said, the guy said last week he took it around the block... but when my dad took a look he couldnt get it to start... but you never know, sometimes people think a rotary is dead and get rid of it for cheap cuz they dont know anything about the engines.... sometimes... i could get lucky, but i mainly just want the body and everything else, gettin the engine runnin would be a total bonus, 250$ cdn , you cant go wrong...
