Boost prepped 48 mm Weber, or perhaps, an OER. I believe Robert is the one to go to for this.

Elford also made a carbed turbo kit, they were out of England. I don't remember if it was blow or draw through though.

I would like to take the time and thank most of the posters for keeping this discussion civil. While I don't believe at this point, the way it's designed, that it will work, a good open discussion benefits all of us. I know it has helped me by simply looking at a new idea and gaining more understanding of 'How Stuff Works'. Trial and error/failure, then rethinking the problem and going back to the drawing board is the basis for most discoveries and sucesses. We learn from our mistakes and gain a better understanding of what does/doesn't work, and more importantly, why.

Look at how many years it took Felix to get the rotary right, after so many others had failed. As the old saying goes, 'Necessity is the Mother of Invention'. Since the 1st gen forum is the home of the 'Original Tight Asses', budget is the necessity. I fully support the creative juices, whether the end result is a failure or sucess, it benefits us all.

So, for those who wish to experiment, by all means do so. For those who believe a particular idea will not work, state your case in a factual and civil manner. Who knows, we may reinvent the rotary yet.

I loved this thread, we discussed the whys and why nots of stuff working. It wasn't the typical thread of some one needing help, or posting pics. We had a good solid discussion, even though the entire premise was unconventional. I felt smart when I thought of the running rich and injecting the boost through a different port idea. Then I felt dumb when perfect circle pointed out that you would run way too rich, or not at all until you started boosting.

I think most people got something from it and we had alot of questions and general info answered.

yes you can, and as far as being a mechanic, i dont know if i would suggest that. if you spend all day working on cars, you most likely wont like working on your own.

well heres the thing with that.. my friends grandparents are VERY wealthy, so with his inheritance, we will be starting a shop of our own. that lets me do what i want for a little while. and i will definately have more time then than what i do now. i work right after school until 10 in a factory... so there isnt much time for anything right now.
